A woman, resolved on killing herself goes up to her “favorite” window. As she reaches the window she begins tidying up before opening up the window. She then sits in the window sill and begins to have a “smoke.” As the woman nears the end of her smoke she looks at the cigarette, it’s practically spent.
The woman’s hand begins to noticeably shake she takes one last deep pull from the cigarette, closes her eyes and begins to lean back. Something, grabs her by the wrist!
She opens her eyes startled! A hand.
A man is lighting his cigarette off of hers.
Man: I was going to ask for a light, but I didn’t think I was going to get the chance.
Woman, looking back, out of the window…
Woman: What are you doing?! Let me go!…
(Brief Pause)
Woman(Cont): Pull me in. And then… let me go.
Man pulls woman back inside, from window.
Man: This is my favorite window.
Woman: What?…
Man: The window; it’s my favorite one.
Woman: Should I go?
Man: Should I?
They stand there, looking at each other in silence.

Screenplay And Story By KAIRE MUPYA
Executives, I figured to let anyone who came across this to hopefully read it, before I possibly chased anyone away.
Personally, I think both of these scenes “work.” The first version I uploaded, is more of a stand alone, short. Where as this one seems as though it would be a great scene for setting up further dialogue between the characters. Anyway, I just wanted to share this one also.

¡Executives, Mañana! 🖤🗽✌🏾
